About Frank

Testimonials

Recently on national television, Larry King asked Billy Graham, "What worries you the most?" Billy Graham replied, "Poverty in the world."

We have worked with Frank Grubbs for several years now. Through his ministry for World Vision at Hume Lake Christian Camps, Frank's personal, touching, and powerful presentation has allowed thousands of kids to be sponsored. Frank is an engaging communicator who helps bring a larger perspective to our ability to help 'the least of these,' while also greatly informed on the workings and integrity of World Vision as a company. Both personally and professionally we highly recommend that you allow Frank Grubbs to share the work World Vision is doing with you, your church, your business and your friends.

Seeing Frank once a week was always a highlight during my years of ministry at Hume Lake and literally thousands of children found sponsors during those summers. When I recently came to Pine Valley Bible Conference Center, Frank was one of the first calls I made. I want our guests here at Pine Valley to have the opportunity of meeting Frank and Pam and to learn of the joy of sponsoring a World Vision child.

Norm Daniels, Executive Director, Pine Valley Bible Conference Center

This is just a quick note to express to you once again just how effective I thought your presentation was during the service last Sunday at NCCC. As you know, I spent 18 years working for World Vision in a variety of capacities including a ten-year stint as the Executive Director of World Vision Relief and Development.

I was especially impressed with your careful and select use of words…it seemed as though each and every word you used was measured for its impact and clarity of message. Given the "throngs" of people gathered around the WV table after the service, I assume others were left with the same favorable impression. Outstanding presentation Frank!

My heart will always be with World Vision. I'm still very proud of my association.

I want to respond to what I saw the Lord do through you this weekend. The few moments you spent in front of our congregation were a joy to behold. I've thought about this several times in the last few days, and each time I was moved to thank God for you.

Your presentation simply could not have been any more appropriate. Your encouraging words were given credibility by your natural and genuine demeanor.

According to my understanding of what makes communication effective, you absolutely rang the bell. I have to believe that this is not due to your mastery of certain techniques, but based on the fact that your heart is devoted to God. Your authentic passion shows clearly.

It is great to see one of God's servants in action. I would be happy to have you back at any time and would heartily recommend you to any who are considering inviting you to promote World Vision, teach, and/or sing.

Dr. Larry Grine, Riverview Evangelical Free Church, Bonsall, CA

The first reason that I endorse this ministry so heartily is that Anita and I have sponsored World Vision children for over 20 years. It is one of our favorite ways to practice our "religion." James 1:27, "Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress…" (NIV) There is nothing like giving to someone who can never repay the gift. In fact, our passion about ministering to orphans and widows led us to sponsor a child 14 years ago. We have never been the same.

The second reason I urge you to invite Frank Grubbs to your group is because of the high quality, above reproach minister and musician that he is. I got to know Frank years ago when he worked at Forest Home and ministered to our high schoolers year after year. He is a godly man of compassion and integrity who is gifted as a musician and communicator. You will be blessed by having him be your "speaker" for the morning in your fellowship. He will respect your time parameters and will not manipulate your people. He will simply minister to them through song and word, presenting the opportunity … leaving their response between them and God.

Truly words can not express what we were given the opportunity to experience in Haiti. Thank you for the blessed opportunity of seeing the world from a different perspective. I was so impressed with the organization of World Vision and the concern they have for the lost and the unlovable. It was great to see how detailed World Vision is in meeting goals not for worldly purposes but to make sure we they are being good stewards with God's resources.

Frank I want you to know that I was blessed to see you in action. You have an admiral trait of loving children. This is something that we are called to do but you genuinely care for them. It is a great trait that was modeled to Rich and me. Thanks for allowing God to use you in the gifts he has given you.

I look forward to ministering together with you in the future. God bless you and your family for your devotion to the Savior,

Johnie Moore, Program Director, Hume Lake Christian Camps
