Frank's History with World Vision

Frank & Pam receive World Vision's Bob
Pierce Lifetime Achievement Award

While living in Hawaii in 1994, Frank began encouraging others to sponsor World Vision children by speaking at churches and writing songs with that same message. World Vision encouraged him to move back to the mainland so he could speak to more people and in January of 1995, he went on a trip to Guatemala where he saw the difference that sponsorship made in a child's life. This fueled his passion to serve "the least of these." He returned to southern California and regularly travels around the country to inform others of this simple opportunity to fulfill Christ's command to help the poor.

In the year 2000, Frank was presented the Bob Pierce Lifetime Achievement Award for getting 10,000 children sponsored. In 2005, Frank won an award for acquiring over 25,000 sponsorships. He has visited five of the children that his family sponsors in various countries and has witnessed the life changing transformation that occurs through sponsorship. He enjoys hearing the donors share stories of how their own lives have been transformed and blessed, too, by having sponsored a child. Frank considers it a privilege to partner with this organization that is giving hope, life, and the good news of Jesus to millions of the poor in this world.
